The Fabric collection is about touch, and the different stories that fabrics can hold. A blanket wrapped around your shoulders while you read on the sofa, sun-warmed linen, the familiar weight of a quilt, or crumpled sheets left behind in the morning.
Cloth is woven into everyday life in quiet ways. It carries traces of comfort, rest, intimacy, and routine. Through this collection, I explore how different textures and fabrics can evoke memories and emotions, turning ordinary moments into something worth holding onto.
My work is rooted in the legacy of Impressionism and Fauvism. I'm not interested in depicting a landscape faithfully - I want to capture a feeling. Texture and brushwork carry a lot of that meaning for me: they let you trace the movement of thought, the moment the hand followed the mind.
